The Suan Dusit Place

The atmosphere was great and the location makes it easy to get to the attractions. I may just have been unlucky with my room, but the lavatory needs attention: there was a cockroach and a used toothpick on the floor.

I only stayed one night, but it was a lovely hotel and I was really impressed. It cost just 30 USD for the night, breakfast for two included. Parking is perhaps a little tight, though the security guard made it easier than expected. The room was well maintained and had everything working. Building two has four floors, and there’s a hot-water pot in the hall by the lift, available 24/7. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed staying here.

I stayed here while taking my cooking course at Suan Dusit University. The staff were lovely, and breakfast had plenty of choices. The restaurant food was amazing and very inexpensive. There’s also a massage specialist and a large swimming pool. A very pleasant place to stay.

My friend brought me here for lunch, so this review is just about the restaurant. I heard there’s a well-known culinary school here and that the students cook the food. We ordered quite a lot, and every dish was good. Authentic Thai food at reasonable prices, with good service. Highly recommend.
