We Inn

The stairs are oddly spaced, at least to me, though it’s no big deal for a short stay. After hours, you have to go down the alley to another hotel to get your key. When receptionists are around, they’re welcoming and friendly. Rooms are always clean, and fresh bottled water arrives every day.

At about 1 a.m. on March 1, 2025, I went to the We Inn counter to check in, but the staff member couldn’t find my reservation. I asked her to take a photo of the reservation system screen (the first photo), which showed We Inn didn’t have my booking details that day, so I couldn’t check in. I had to pay 600 baht in cash for another room. The second photo is the receipt. I asked Adoda for a refund for that night, but We Inn kept rejecting it, as shown in the third photo. If there was a problem between AGODA and We Inn’s computer reservation system, how is it fair to pass it on to the customer and charge them? They couldn’t find my booking on the day I arrived. This was irresponsible and a terrible inn!

For a quick overnight stop, whether you arrive late or need to leave early, this place is easy to spot right on the main street. To check in, go to mocha hotel just to the right, about two or three minutes away. An older woman may come out and guide you there. I don’t think she speaks English, but she’ll help you out. The bedroom was clean, with an old Chinese house kind of feel. There are four floors and no lift, so good luck with big luggage. For checkout, you can leave the key in the box in the lobby. It’s a 15-minute walk from DMK Airport and close to a 7/11 and a market, so food is easy to find.

A good spot for backpackers: you get privacy at rates that can compete with hostels. The attendants were extremely friendly and courteous. We only stayed long enough to sleep well before heading out for our flight. I’d recommend it if you’re just passing through and won’t spend much time in the room. If you want a more accommodating place, there are others at still very reasonable prices.
