We stayed in the older building across the street, set back from the road and quieter. There’s also a modern building by the street with nice rooms. Our unit was basically average. Breakfast was free but very minimal, just toast and Thai soup. The owner may have been well liked by others, but we found them intrusive and overbearing. Charging our EV turned into a battle. They didn’t seem interested at first, then charged us 200 baht to use a basic plug at their house while our car sat outside in pouring rain. We wouldn’t stay here again.

I personally didn’t like the bathroom. There was just one very strong light in the middle of the ceiling, though two bedside night lights would’ve been nice.

The room was clean, but the lighting wasn’t bright. The maid staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was Thai style with little variety. There was a very bad smell from the toilet when we used it. I hope they can fix it soon.

It’s in a great spot for visiting local temples, waterfalls, and Laos. The guesthouse is run by nice people, breakfast is included, and the rooms have good AC and comfortable beds. There are lovely rooms in a Thai-style house, as well as Western rooms at the front.
