The Anda Mani Khaolak Beachfront Villas

Our villas were beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully decorated, fully equipped and extremely comfortable. The setting outside is just as lovely, with direct access to a peaceful, gorgeous beach. The restaurant serves delicious, nicely presented food, and the ocean view makes meals feel extra special. I especially loved the excellent coffee each morning, a real treat. The staff are attentive and caring while still discreet, and always smiling and available when needed. A special thank you to Kris, the manager, who is exceptionally kind and attentive and makes sure guests feel cared for. He and the whole team made us feel at home. We had a truly memorable stay at The Anda Mani Khao Lak, an intimate, unique and authentic place we highly recommend. We’ll definitely return.

With only 10 rooms, this feels like visiting family, not being one more anonymous face in a crowded resort. Chris greets you and brings you to the lobby and dining room. From the moment the taxi passes the entrance gate, the atmosphere is quiet, relaxed and intimate. It’s one of the closest places to Paradise I’ve found. We stayed in room #1, right on the first line by the sea. Each morning we woke up facing the water, and at night we could hear the waves all the way in the room. If you’ve dreamed of running barefoot on the beach at sunrise, lying under a coconut tree by the sea all day, or having a cocktail while watching a romantic sunset, this is the place. Just set your breakfast expectations: you choose a dish from a menu, there’s no regular hotel buffet. The food is excellent and satisfying, but food isn’t really the point here. It’s a place for experiences.

The food was top tier. I enjoyed the sunset cocktail and canapés, and the dinner menu was big enough that I was always trying something new. Chris and his team run a relaxing hotel in a beautiful setting. Everyone, from room service to the wait staff, was professional and incredibly kind, going out of their way to meet our needs. They really delivered on the homely feel they promise. Having stayed at many hotels and places around Thailand, the Andi Mani is one of my highest recommendations.

They keep the number of guests small, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on a lounger or feeling that overwhelming resort atmosphere. It’s a luxury stay, and the staff are top notch, welcoming, and always go out of their way to help. This is a perfect spot to relax and feel pampered. There’s a small town area close enough to walk to, and the larger Khao Lak area is a short taxi ride away. I’d come back and stay longer.
