Cresco Hotel Buriram

The pool area has a great feel to it, especially with the café open late, and the food and drinks there were excellent. The hotel is modern and comfortable, and my room was stylish and spotless. The staff were friendly and efficient. As a racing fan, I loved seeing the road race motorcycle in the lobby. It’s a great base for Chang International Circuit, and I’d gladly stay again for the motorcycle races or just for a fun, contemporary place to stay.

The room made for a comfortable stay, with lots of space, a large cozy bed, and room to unwind or get some work done. I liked the decor too. Cresco Hotel Buriram has a modern, stylish look and feels well cared for. There’s a pool and fitness center, plus a large parking lot where finding a space wasn’t an issue. A good choice when visiting Buriram.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and I liked the vibe. The pool was clean and warm, and there was plenty of parking. I was there in May for my best friend’s wedding in the ballroom, and nearly the whole property was rented by friends and family. The event, catering, and F&B teams were very nice, but one front desk manager ruined the experience for me. At about 10:45 am during the ceremony, I called the front desk to confirm checkout. The Google Maps information said check-in and checkout were both 14:00, which seemed strange to me after working in hotels all my life, but the person who answered confirmed checkout was at 14:00. Then at 12:30, the front desk called and said we needed to check out because it was past 12:00. I slipped away from the wedding to clarify, since my friends and I were bridesmaids with duties and the ceremony would finish at 13:00. The staff brought in the manager after I repeated what I’d been told on the phone and pointed to the Google listing. When I explained and showed her the listing, she interrupted me and said unprofessionally, “Why do you believe info in google map while I’m standing here to tell you that check out time 12:00 not 14:00”. I was upset, so I explained the call and showed proof of it, along with a screenshot of THEIR own Google information. People traveling to the hotel have to rely on Google Maps unless they’re locals, so why wouldn’t I believe it? No late checkout had been offered to anyone in our group, even though we’d rented the WHOLE property. There had been a clear mix-up among the staff, and I found this manager rude and unprofessional because she wouldn’t listen. She did offer a late checkout eventually, but I declined and checked out immediately. It left a bad impression, and I won’t stay here again.

We came to town for the motorcycle races, and the hotel was well located for them. We really enjoyed our stay.
