The 8 hostel Buriram

I called 45 minutes before getting there to ask the nightly price, and she quoted 500. But when I arrived, they said there were no rooms available that night. I asked about the next day and was told there were none then either. They seem to be closed for now. Maybe it was a communication problem, but I didn’t get the feeling they wanted guests at the moment. I gave one star because I checked ahead and then walked 45 minutes to get there.

We didn’t stay overnight, but spent more than five hours working and reading in the coffee shop while waiting for our flight to Bangkok. It was a really comfortable space, the drinks were good and cheap, the WiFi was fast, and the staff were very friendly. I’d definitely recommend the coffee shop.

If stairs are fine with you, the rooms are affordable, clean, and comfortable. The ladies were smiling, and they sell nice, reasonably priced local handmade items, including T-shirts and useful tote bags. Breakfast and WiFi are free, and both are excellent. I recommend it as a stopover in Buriram city center. A lot of hotels don’t match this hostel’s level.

One of my best hostel stays in Thailand. The breakfast in the morning is so good, you really shouldn’t miss it.
