You'll want your own transport, since there's little food, shopping, or entertainment within walking distance. The coast isn't far, but it's only a beach around low tide; at other times the water comes up to the sea wall. The pool is huge, roughly Olympic length, and the gym equipment is good quality.
Staff were very kind, and the gym and swimming pool were excellent and really clean. The kitchen is set apart from the bedroom, which is handy for cooking. Getting to local restaurants and stores is less convenient. You can walk, but there's no pavement and you have to watch out for dogs. There are only two bicycles to use, and the road feels a bit scary after sunset.
I was here for two months and found the grounds immaculate, the staff courteous and attentive, and room cleaning, laundry, and mending services available. The pool is incredible, and quite often I had it all to myself. I haven't tried any other condo complexes in cha am, but this one is A-1!
The pool is great, but most restaurants and bars are about three miles away, so you'll need a motorbike. Cycling is possible, but I wouldn't do it in the evening, when lots of big dogs roam around and often catch cyclists.
Rooms and grounds are clean and well maintained, as shown in the pictures. It's usually quiet, and the pool is nice with clean water. What you'll find in the room depends on the owner. Free Wi-Fi is awful if you need more than light browsing. They blamed my room being on the sixth floor, which isn't true. The lobby and pool have a stronger signal, but it drops because so many people are using it. They refuse to invest in faster internet or add more Hotspots.
