Mida De Sea Hua Hin Hotel

The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, and the rooms, pool area, and staff were all great. The hotel is close to the ocean and some beautiful countryside. There’s a 7-11 and a small grocery store five minutes away, with big markets right near the motorway. Small family restaurants and grocery shops are scattered all around too.

I booked rooms for my family as a group trip. I arrived at 15:30 with my one-year-old, but they wouldn’t let us into the room because the rest of my group hadn’t arrived. Staff were worried that if I checked into the larger room and nobody else came, I’d have to pay for all the rooms. I was really unimpressed. I’ve stayed at all kinds of hotels and never had service like this. The air conditioner in our room was very loud, and there was a lipstick mark on an unused glass. One bedroom had a strange smell, so my mother had to sleep in the living room. For one night, this place was really not worth the money.

The Mida was a 10/10, and I’ll definitely come back. I stayed for two weeks for work training, and the hotel conference room was excellent. The restaurant breakfast had an amazing selection, and the lunch provided during training was delicious, four courses every day. We dined like kings. The food was great across the board. After a long day, the lovely pool was perfect for a dip, and the beach was a five-minute walk away. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, the location was great, and the staff were fantastic, friendly, and courteous. They were the best hosts you could ask for. Need a golf cart to a local restaurant, or even the 7-11 up the road in the middle of the night? No problem. Need a shuttle to the training site or Bangkok? Consider it done. It was an amazing experience all around. Special thanks to Aon, she’s an absolute rock star.

The ocean view from the room was wonderful, and an evening walk along the beach before sunset was lovely. The pool was nice and not crowded, and breakfast had enough choices, though it was just alright. The staff were helpful during my stay of more than 10 days. The bed wasn’t as comfortable, and adjusting the hot shower was really difficult. Still, we had a pleasant stay.
