We were travelling together, and rooms were hard to find that day, so I booked a family suite just a few hours before we got there. When we arrived, that room apparently hadn't been cleaned, and they gave us two rooms instead. Mine was at the front of the hotel, with a queen bed. It was clean and nice, and I liked it quite a bit. It might have been a premium room. I didn't see the other room, but I was told it was fine, so that's what I can report about the hotel. I didn't try the pool or other facilities, so I can't comment on them. There were other buildings attached to what seemed to be an original building, and I had to duck under a low ceiling to reach my room. The layout felt a little hodgepodge. That's just an observation, not a complaint, since I'm tall. The location wasn't convenient, although it's very close to the beach. I had no trouble parking, but there didn't seem to be much good parking in the area. That's the downside I noticed.

The service was nearly absent, with so few staff that we waited almost an hour because nobody was at reception when we arrived. They may also send you to a different hotel further down the street. Parking felt inconvenient and unsafe since it isn't owned by the hotel. The rooms are decent for a reasonable price, though cleanliness was average. If all you need is an affordable place to sleep, it's adequate.

The location is hard to beat, just a few steps across the road from the beach. For what it costs, the room is very good and you shouldn't be disappointed. Service was limited, but I know it's low season, so that didn't bother me.

I paid 500 baht a day booking through Agoda, while the walk-in price was 700 baht. The staff weren't friendly at all. I'd give it one star, but added a second because I stayed here two years ago.
