The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort

We compared this venue with several five-star hotels and big chains in the Hua Hin area, and the service and value here stood out for our budget. Our wedding at Regent Chaam + Bonnie on the Beach in Hua Hin had more than 50 guests, and the team took care of everything with real professionalism. They were responsive, offered helpful planning advice, and made the process stress-free. The package covered nearly everything, including rooms for our guests. The food was outstanding, the live band they arranged was amazing, and the event felt well coordinated. Our guests loved the venue and gave us lots of compliments. A special thank you to May for her patience, support, and hard work. My wife and I are very happy with our choice.

The village within walking distance was handy for finding local food and some light entertainment on a relaxed evening stroll. At the resort, breakfast was a daily highlight, with lots of variety and good quality. Families have plenty to enjoy too: the kids’ club was engaging and well run, and the different pools worked for both play and downtime. Staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay, and the managers were visible and approachable, with a clear focus on service standards. The Regent Cha-Am Beach Resort has comfortable facilities and we’d happily return. We’d recommend it to families or couples.

There’s a fitness center, two large pools, and a kids’ club, so it works well for families. The room was clean, and both dining options were up to standard. I’d pick the restaurant near the kids’ pool, since it has more space. Regent Cha Am is an established older hotel, but it’s kept in good shape with regular maintenance and renovations. I also liked the spacious grounds, all the greenery, and the private beachfront. On our visit the tide was high, though, so there wasn’t much beach to walk along.

The sea views are panoramic and the location is good, though there wasn’t a beach area to relax on. Our room was spacious but dated, and the in-room air conditioner leaked. Staff fixed that quickly. The breakfast staff in the kids pool wing were lovely, especially one lively and helpful woman. Check-in was the bad part. The front office staff member seemed tired and got confused about the dates and extra-person charge. My family was staying Saturday to Monday, two nights, and I joined on Sunday for the second night. I told her I wanted to pay the extra-person fee, but she said I had to pay for both Saturday and Sunday. I explained I’d only arrived Sunday and didn’t need an extra bed, just the amenities. She then assumed I was trying to avoid paying. If I didn’t want to pay, I wouldn’t have told her I’d arrived. I had to explain it all again, and the interaction spoiled our happy family time. Thankfully, the other staff were nice.
