6/10
The pool was nice, the rooms were big, the hot water worked, and the air conditioning was cold. Room service was great and the food was very good. We even got 150 baht off per night without asking. Ton Tan Resort is a decent place if you keep in mind it’s a two-star hotel, so don’t expect five-star standards. Some people may not see the good in it, but I think it’s okay. I’d take reviews from unhappy Japanese business men with a grain of salt.

We wanted somewhere quiet for a couple of days with our two-year-old, and this Thai-style resort suited us well. He enjoyed the pool and gardens. It’s a little off the beaten track.

The rooms are great and well appointed, and the staff were great too. There’s free breakfast and parking. It’s a short way off the highway, with beaches about 20 minutes away.

The rooms were brand new as of March 2018, and the WiFi worked okay. It’s a quiet place for an overnight stay, though the pool is tiny and the mattresses are too hard. :))

We’ve been back, and it’s still a nice, quiet place for a stopover. Just off the main road, and we’ll definitely return.
