Top View Hotel

My room had a beautiful harbor view, which added to the atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and the facilities are well maintained. The lighting in my room felt a little dim compared with what I’d usually expect. Also, there’s no shower door, so the bathroom floor gets wet after use. Breakfast is included, with four set menus to choose from, and there’s a pool and gym for leisure or exercise. Laundry can be arranged through the receptionist. Top View Hotel is a comfortable option in Chon Buri, with useful amenities and a pleasant stay.

We paid 1150 baht for one night, and with these conditions, it didn’t feel worth the price. There were lots of mosquitoes in the lobby, and we got bitten by several in the restaurant during breakfast at 8am. The breakfast itself was simple and good for us, but it only runs until 9am, which makes the timing tight. Check-in around 9pm was quick, with front office staff there to help. There was enough parking and a guard to assist. The bed and pillow were comfortable, the AC was cold enough, and soap, towels, and drinking water were provided. The room lighting was insufficient and a bit dark. The AC compressor was beside a room and really noisy. There were also some mosquitoes in the room. The stopper behind the bathroom door was poorly placed on the floor by the shower area. Someone could hit or step on it, which is dangerous. It should be at the top of the door instead.

I landed in Leam Chabang around 4 in the morning after a very rough flight and needed somewhere to rest for 6-7 hours. Another hotel I tried first wouldn’t give me a room, so I went to Hotel TOP View. The staff were very helpful, check-in was smooth, and I got a great room where I felt comfortable. The location and service were amazing. It’s a good place for couples, business people, and solo travelers.

The room is decent, but strongly avoid staying more than one night. Bedsheets and towels are changed only on Wednesday and Sunday, and you get just one set of soap, shampoo, and hand soap per month.
