The place is right by the beach, and our pool villa came with its own pool. The bed was super comfortable, and the air conditioning, fridge, and shower pressure were all great. Breakfast came to our room with plenty of choice, plus there were free items in the room fridge. Staff were really friendly and helpful. There are lots of local seafood restaurants within walking distance, and we could use bikes for free to nip to the shops. There’s also an EV charger at 9 baht per kW. Cha-Am is quiet in general, and this is at the far northern end, which is quieter still. If you want nightlife or a change from the very local restaurant choices, you’ll need to take a taxi or drive. Breakfast is quite Thai-style, which was fine for us.

We were so glad we chose the avenue for our wedding. The management was excellent, and the service went beyond what we expected. Our room was fantastic, and the main pool area was amazing, with a setup that suits adults and kids. Everything was perfect for our night. Highly recommend it for a wedding or a holiday.

We stayed five nights in early March, and it was incredibly quiet. Only two other villas were occupied, but we barely saw those guests outside breakfast, so the pool and beach felt like ours. The sandy beach is wide and nice to walk along, and the pool is pleasant. Our villa opened straight onto the pool, though the access and mini terrace weren’t much to get excited about. The rooms could use some renovation. The doors and sliding doors don’t shut fully, so a stray mosquito or two got in. The staff did everything they could to make us feel at home. Only a few spoke English, so Google Translate helped. Bolt got us to Cha-Am in 10 minutes. There’s a restaurant on either side of the resort: the one on the right was okay, but so large it felt unsociable. The place by the fishing port/pier on the left was the first big disappointment of our three-week trip to Thailand, though there are other restaurants around. The resort restaurant closes at 7 pm, and after that there’s nowhere to get a drink; it all goes dark. We had lunch at the resort twice, which was fine, and the a la carte breakfast was good too, but you have to order it the day before.

The people working here really go the extra mile, and the manager even arranged for us to borrow our own motorbike throughout the stay. Our room was large and clean. Breakfast and lunch were fantastic, and the private beach felt like a dream. We had a great stay at this little hotel. It’s really worth visiting and should definitely be a five-star hotel.

We spent a week here and loved the peaceful, romantic feel. The rooms were nice, and having a private pool was a real treat. You can get a bike to go to 7 11 or another shop, and restaurants and stores aren’t far away. I’d definitely recommend it for a quiet getaway.
