Sun Marina Cha Am

We were a group of 30, and booking directly with the hotel on Facebook was easy. The staff went out of their way to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. The rooms were lovely for the price, and breakfast was one of the best. Excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!

We got a good deal with a Makalius coupon. The rooms were bigger than I expected compared with similar hotels in the same price range, and the breakfast was excellent for the price. Add breakfast if it isn’t included in your booking. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s a pool inside the hotel, close to the beach. A 7-11 and a good coffee shop are in front. Parking is limited, but you can park across the street. I recommend the hotel for its value.

We had an amazing mini-break in Cha Am and will book Sun Marina again when we return. The staff were super friendly and always willing to help, and the hotel was very clean. The saltwater pool is a good size, with jets, a kids’ paddle area, and a main section for swimming. Each morning there was a breakfast buffet with a reasonable selection, and the food was generally good. A few days when we slept late, the front desk called our room to ask if we were coming down to eat and kept the buffet open for us. The hotel is right across from the beach, where there are lots of seating areas with umbrellas and you can order food and a beer while enjoying the view. Not many people were swimming in the sea during our stay because there were reports of jellyfish nearby. We saw quite a few large ones washed up on the beach, which I suspect is seasonal. There were also many, MANY pigeons around the hotel, but the staff cleaned up after them each day.

A comfy, laid-back place near Cha-Am beach. It wasn’t too crowded in front of the hotel, and there was nice food and drink, with a 7/11 close by.
