The river view is nice, and the rooms were clean and pleasant. The bed, though, felt like it was made from solid granite or marble, not even softer stone. Breakfast was disappointing and didn’t give me a reason to get up early. The staff were friendly enough, but there wasn’t much English spoken.

It’s a riverside place, although you can’t see the river directly from the rooms. The rooms and facilities feel old, like the property has been open for quite a while, but they’re cleaned and maintained. Breakfast was a nice extra for the room price.

A nice spot to relax if you’re in the area, and a welcome break from Bangkok. The river breeze is cool, the food is great, and the staff are friendly, though they aren’t especially active. Breakfast is a buffet aimed at Thai guests, with favorites like rice soup, Thai sweets, and fried dough. The hotdog sausages are the low-quality kind Thai people seem to like in the morning. There’s no real coffee, so bring your own.
