Grand Pruksasiri Hotel Chaiyaphum

Breakfast comes with the stay. The options were a little limited, but for the price I can’t complain. The staff were polite and helpful, and the service was good all around. We were well impressed, and would return and recommend it to others.

If Chaiyaphum brings you here, you really should stay at this hotel. It’s new, and the rooms are modern and, most of all, clean. The staff are super friendly. It’s not the Hilton or Sofitel, but for Chaiyaphum, this place is awesome. I’d give it six stars if I could. Thanks for everything! We’ll come back, unless my colleague in Chaiyaphum has other plans.

Although it’s a fair distance from Chaiyaphum’s busy area, the hotel’s location is quiet. For foreigners in general, that distance may make it a difficult spot to get to. The building has four floors and sits outside the city center. It seems to have opened recently, and both the common areas and rooms feel very clean. The rooms are compact, with a simple, clean design that makes the most of comfort and function. The bedding and air conditioning are good quality, and the shower pressure is just right. I can’t fault the room’s comfort or practicality. There’s no closet, which is a drawback, though a minimalist might see that as a deliberate choice. All in all, I’d describe it as a new kind of hotel with a boutique feel.

The live music from a nearby restaurant could be heard in the room, but the place closes at 11 pm, so it wasn’t too late. Breakfast got pretty crowded, and the serving area should be wider. It was very hard to get food. When I visited, the pool was sadly closed for renovations. The rooms are clean and the hotel is new, so it doesn’t feel worn down. There was very little tissue, just one roll, and none in the bathroom. Parking holds about 20 cars, so during a festival there might not be a space.
