Hop Inn Chaiyaphum

After several recent stays at Hop Inn where my room had no usable balcony access, this Chaiyaphum visit restored my faith in the chain. There was a proper balcony door, and the front desk teams, including the manager herself, gave six star assistance. They helped with a bathroom door problem and shared information that wasn’t available online, including something as seemingly minor as how to get from Chaiya to Korat. The corporate team deserves credit for training staff so well in service and attitude.

My wife is from Chaiyaphum, and I’ve been coming here for eight years. I’d stayed at all the “best” places the town had to offer and dreaded each visit more than the last. Finally, there’s a clean, nice hotel that feels like a place to come home to. Great water pressure in the excellent bathroom, friendly staff, a parking attendant who does a great job, and free Nescafe coffee in the lobby in the mornings.

The location worked well for me. There’s a 711 about 450 meters away, and the bus station is right across the road if you want to catch a bus to Bangkok. The rooms are nice and neat.

The room is clean and minimalist, with the same standard as a Travelodge in Europe. There’s a powerful AC, a big TV across from the bed, a comfortable bed, and a nice shower.
