The rooms are nice, but the cleaning was really poor. We found small ants in the bed at check-in, and the sheets on one bed were dirty and clearly hadn't been changed. The owner moved us to another room, but there too the bed cover didn't look like it had been washed between guests. The bathroom sink leaked badly, and the shower drain was full of hair. Management needs to check the rooms regularly because the maid isn't doing her job.

The warm welcome from the owner and his family is why I'll be back for my next two-week break from offshore fieldwork. Baan Chai Yo Resort is a good choice if you want to get away from the city chaos and be surrounded by nature in Ang Thong. My room was clean and nicely designed, and the lobby and rooms had been disinfected before I arrived, which made me feel fairly confident about COVID-19 safety. I've never been disappointed staying here.

I found this quiet little place to rest, surrounded by lots of green plants. Waking up and stepping out of the room felt so fresh, with lovely fresh air. The owner's family were honest, friendly, and kind. The room wasn't very big, but it was clean and nice. If you're visiting Ang-Thong, try staying here. I recommend it.
