Hivetel Phuket

The bed felt a bit too hard for me, but everything else was fantastic and well worth the price. The staff were lovely, and my room was clean, tidy, and felt safe. I had a great time at the Hivetel!

It’s very clean, and I’d recommend it for a budget stay. The shipping container rooms don’t have soundproofing, but they mention that before you book, so it didn’t bother me. The location is beautiful, just steps from the beach and close to restaurants, cafes, laundry, and a gym. There’s also a restaurant downstairs and arcade games if you’d rather stay in. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I’ll definitely come back!

We’ll stay here again when we visit Phuket. The location was hard to judge when booking, but turned out to suit our family perfectly, and Dolphin bay is only a 3-minute drive away. Mr.Annan was always there to welcome us when we got back late at night, and the morning staff were polite and welcoming as well. The pool was amazing, with a rain shower available on request. There are water dispensers on every floor for filling drinking bottles. We didn’t get the chance to try a meal at the restaurant Otter in the rain. A perfect stay for us, 5/5.

The room was on the small side, but clean and comfortable, with a big balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows, and blackout curtains. I liked the bathroom’s indoor-outdoor feel. Its rain shower looks through a frosted or glazed window, and the wide shutter-style ceiling vents let in the views, scents, and sounds. Room service was fresh and delicious, with generous portions at reasonable prices. The team were friendly throughout. There’s a refundable ฿1000 security deposit at check-in. Expedia had told me about it when I booked. The front desk associate greeted me warmly, check-in was quick, and someone walked me to the room once the paperwork was done, which was a nice touch. The lobby is amazing, with a swim-up bar and restaurant that feel made for a holiday. From there, a distinctive circular ramp winds upward. Walking it felt a bit like following the "yellow brick road". For the style and what you get, this was incredible value.
