Mornings in the garden were my favorite. I’d sit on the wooden swing chair with a book and listen to the birds and water. So calming. Lush Inn is tucked into nature, with a lovely garden, a little waterfall, and a fish pond. My room was clean and comfortable, and the green view from the window was a lovely thing to wake up to. It was a wonderful stay, and just the place to slow down and enjoy nature. I’d recommend it and would love to return.

Getting a taxi in this area is difficult, so having a rental bike or car would be ideal. The nearest beach is about a 30-minute drive away. The grounds are lovely and well cared for, and the design is unusual and interesting. The setting is secluded and quiet. We booked a bungalow, but there was confusion when we arrived. Our taxi dropped us at Lush Inn Phuket Resort, while reception and the keys were at Lush Inn Phuket Hotel, 500-700 meters away. Nobody had told us. After a long flight, we had to take our luggage over there to check in and collect the keys.

We stayed in the stone cottage, and the setting was striking. It made me feel like I was visiting the Flintstones. At night, the bathroom can bring an unexpected guest, maybe a frog, bird, or bug, since there's an opening in the roof for them to get in. We were prepared for that, though.

The rooms are attractive, and the garden is tidy and well kept. Since the hotel has only recently opened, it wasn't busy, and the cleanliness was very good. The general service seemed to be limited to changing the water. For this price, though, there are better options in more convenient areas. Without your own car, getting in can be difficult and dangerous because of construction and the secluded road at the entrance.
