The Lantern Hostel and SPA

The location is good, close to everything, and the room service was good too. But I couldn’t sleep because there was so much noise outside the room. I could hear sounds from the hallway and other room doors opening and closing. This definitely didn’t feel like a 4-star hotel to me, more like a 2-star place. Peace.

The shared area was large, shaded, quiet, and relaxed, with an espresso machine. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean, with new AC units, a fridge, daily maid service, and comfortable beds with quality mattresses. Reception is staffed continuously. Remarkable value, and I’ll absolutely return!

The reception team were so welcoming and helpful, and the place has a great feel to it. The rooms are good and the prices are fair. They also have some of the best weed in Phuket, at good prices. Thanks to the guy at reception for all the help.

There’s a lovely plant-filled lounge with plenty of places to sit, a real little oasis. The hostel is family-run and close to some nice attractions, and my room was large. Staff were very friendly. There’s a good breakfast and dimsum place down the road, plus tarn tara spa is just a few minutes’ walk away.
