The staff were efficient, and I enjoyed the tasty breakfast buffet. The beds were good, and having a pool was nice. There was mildew in the bathrooms, though, and they tried to mask it with perfume. If you need to stay in the area, there are better value options near the east bus station unless having a pool is important to you.

The rooms and bathroom are small, but this works well as a place to sleep while sightseeing or stopping over, including for the Thai Visa Service. At 1200 Baht a night, it's good value, with an indoor pool and a pretty decent breakfast included. It's right by the BTS on the main road, next to Tesco and several fast food places, with a convenience store just outside. The hotel has a stylish Moroccan theme and some nice places to chill.

We used the metro to get around to the golden buddha, jim thompson house, chatuchat weekend market, and china town. There's a nice street bazar across the road and a big grocery store right beside it. The hotel is right on the main street but wasn't noisy, and the location felt perfect. It's a cozy, warm thai hotel rather than a typical one, and a good value for anyone looking for a decent place.

At 35$ a night, getting a taste of the Kingdom of Morocco in the heart of Bangkok costs far less than flying to Morocco. Still, once in a lifetime is enough.
