The room itself was acceptable, and I stayed for a month. The owner and security guard were both pleasant and helpful, but the receptionist’s conduct was disappointing and unprofessional. Better customer service and proper conduct would make a big difference. I was shocked by an electricity bill of 3,800 THB for the month. I know I should have checked the meter when I arrived, but I was only in the room at night because I work during the day. The move-in was stressful too. On the day I was meant to arrive, after I’d already paid a down payment, the receptionist canceled my booking and said the room was going to be renovated. No one told me ahead of time. I only learned this after calling repeatedly for days without getting a response. I was already outside the apartment with all my belongings, and ended up pleading just to be allowed to stay for a month. Guest handling, especially by the receptionist, needs significant improvement.
