Villa Nap Dau 10 Bedrooms

We had a really big space for sleeping and breakfast, with plenty of beds and toilets for a group of friends or colleagues. There’s also a large pool and a games room. Getting there isn’t the easiest, but it’s accessible by car or Grab. We stayed for a few days and stocked up on alcohol, fruit, snacks, and whatever else the group wanted from the supermarket. We worked from the villa during the day, then went into Phuket main city at night to party and explore. Meals were included and cooked by the helpers who stay there. They were quite tasty, including barbecue from the pit by the pool. Just tell them what time you want to eat and they’ll sort it out. Have fun while you’re there!

We had a brilliant time here. The bedrooms are huge and really comfortable, and the quirky decor gives the place character. There’s loads of covered outdoor space, plus a pool and a playroom. It feels more like a mansion than a villa. Phansa and the team were kind, quick to help, and cooked us a fantastic dinner. A big thank you for such a lovely stay.

We really didn’t want to leave. The villa has so many places to relax or have fun, and the host was a pleasure to deal with. Airport transfers were arranged for us, and every day we got a delicious Western breakfast wherever we wanted, by the pool or in the dining room. The staff also sorted out beer and whatever Thai takeaway we fancied. We started each morning with a swim and some sun. The rooms and service made this place stand out.

Phansa made the whole trip easy from the start. She communicated clearly while we were booking, spoke excellent English, and helped with whatever we needed once we arrived. We could text, call, or see her in person each day, and she was focused on making things easier for us. She also handled the payment and cash deposit smoothly, returning the deposit as we left. That had worried us after past problems with international rentals. We were a group of eight adults and four children, from six months to ten years old, staying from December 17, 2016 through New Year’s Day. Some of us were from the U.S., and some family members were temporarily living in Korea. It was the best family vacation we’ve had. The house was in great shape, thoughtfully laid out, and clearly well cared for. Handrails and safe steps made it comfortable for toddlers and older guests. It felt like our own peaceful, secure compound, though shops, beaches, and attractions were only a short drive away. There was plenty of room for everyone, with air-conditioned indoor areas and both covered and open-air spaces. We spent more time outside. The simple decor suited us, the furniture was clean and high quality, and the landscaping and hills, including the large Buddha, stood out against the mostly tree-covered view. We arranged a chef through Phansa, and the meals were a highlight. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious, better than even excellent Thai restaurants I’ve had in the U.S. Rice came in individual half pineapples or beneath cones of papaya leaf. The team asked what we liked, provided both Thai and British-American breakfast options, and adapted for vegetarians and children. Meals included soup and four or five dishes. Even when the chef wasn’t there, the food and presentation stayed fantastic. The pool was warm, spacious, easy to get into, and had lovely tiles that didn’t scrape our skin. Salt water meant little chlorine. Adults and kids spent hours in and around it every day, and fresh towels were laid out daily. The house was cleaned and maintained each day by the three staff members, who took care of details while respecting our privacy. Phansa and her team were amazing. Phansa arranged groceries at cost, a van and driver that could fit everyone for outings, fishing and snorkeling, a boat and canoe trip, and, best of all, massages at the house almost every day. The masseuses came to the gazebo, where a wonderful massage of over an hour cost 400 Baht, about $11. We used the house’s indoor and outdoor spaces without ever feeling crowded, and the quiet setting felt safe. When we return to Thailand, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. I’d recommend Villa Nap Dau to anyone looking for a wonderful holiday on Phuket.
