High5 Guesthouse

The street outside gets busy and loud, though that isn't the guesthouse's fault. Inside, the rooms are clean, the beds are soft, and the staff are friendly and funny. I always book a single room because it has a fridge and microwave, which you don't find everywhere. For the price, it's a very good deal, and I'll stay here whenever I'm back in Pattaya.

For a shared dorm, the facilities match what you'd expect when you're paying less. It can feel crowded and there's not much air circulation, but that's understandable at this price. They leave a bottle of water each day, and the receptionist was really nice and helpful.

The room was clean and really comfortable. The cook and reception team were friendly, and the two housekeepers took great care of things. It felt like being at a five-star hotel. Give this place a try, you'll like the people here.

The staff were so kind when I was dealing with gout and swelling in both legs. They moved me to a lower floor, which meant I didn't have to tackle as many stairs. Housekeeping kept the room very clean, too. The location is perfect, and for a bar and guesthouse, I'd give it five stars.
