Baan Rim Ao

The rates are affordable, and the service is friendly and polite. There’s a large pool and quiet little corners where you can sit and read. Our room was clean and spacious, although we could hear some noise from outside. Baan Rim Ao is a great place for a family stay, with lovely sunset views. The food was good too, including local dishes like Chan noodles Pad Thai. They also have live music on Friday evenings.

The facilities and general atmosphere were quite good, and the peaceful setting on Chanthaburi Bay makes for a relaxing getaway. The location and scenery are the real draw here. Breakfast felt closer to what I'd expect at a 2.5-star hotel than a 4-star one, both for the selection and presentation. Some hot dishes were cold, while other food that could have been served cold was sitting in a heated cabinet, which seemed odd. Service was mixed. Many staff members were welcoming, but some came across as cold and less friendly than expected. The uncle security was especially admirable for his great service. It's a decent choice if location matters most to you.

The room was big and the staff were kind and nice. The pool was the best part. Breakfast was very simple, so I was a little disappointed.

The pool is massive and great for doing laps, and our rooms were large and clean. It’s pet friendly too. They even brought a tent and food for our dog. We got five-star service from the friendly staff, and the dining area was beautiful, with an ocean view.
