Kasemsarn Hotel Chanthaburi

The rooms are spacious and very clean. I stayed an extra day because the location is excellent for the price, and the staff are the best I've experienced since entering Thailand from the South.

The location was fantastic, and I had a great stay. The staff were friendly and even took care of my laundry. There was a problem with the balcony door at first, but they moved me to another room. The air conditioning there needed fixing too, and they sorted it out quickly. Free drinking water was in the fridge. The bed felt a bit too hard, and the shower temperature varied, though the water was always warm. I'd recommend this hotel.

Chantrabul community is right behind the hotel, and markets are about a 500 m walk away. There's also a Thai/Chinese-style restaurant next door that opens at 9 am. Breakfast isn't included, but that was no problem for us. My sister, mom, and I stayed one night with an extra bed for 1,390 baht, a good deal. The room was clean and had what we needed: instant coffee, a kettle, bottled water, a hair dryer, shampoo, liquid soap, towels, and slippers. The staff were super nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

We mainly picked this place for the location and parking, and both worked well. It's near our favorite restaurant, has parking, and is easy to enter and leave from the main road. We liked the open reception by the parking lot, and the lobby air conditioning made it really comfortable. The staff were nice, polite, and helpful. The room is basic, nothing fancy, but the shower pressure was better than I expected and I liked the local orange shower gel. The bed was a little hard, though we slept okay and had no bed bug issues. You get what you pay for. I'd recommend it to anyone considering a stay.
