Rimnaam Klangchan Hotel

My main problem was getting sleep. Flies came into our room on the first night, and construction noise outside kept me awake the next day, so I had two nights of insomnia. I can’t say it was all the hotel’s fault, but it was a bad experience. The rooms were especially clean, and the hotel was good and reasonably priced, though overall it felt average rather than exceptional.

The room was spacious and clean, and the included breakfast was ok. Staff stayed pleasant even when I was annoyed. But the air-conditioning problem was initially denied, and I spent two hours going back and forth before insisting on another room. I live in Australia and know how aircon works. The shower hot water also wasn’t good enough. Fixing the maintenance issues would make this a decent hotel.

The gardens by the river are wonderful, and breakfast was good quality. The staff were very kind, and the hotel was comfortable and well kept, with some good design features.

The bar and restaurant shut very early, and you need a car to get to the city’s best spots. Still, it’s a nice, very clean hotel in a quiet area. The beds are large and comfortable, so we slept well. Our room had a big balcony with a jacuzzi, which my partner loved.
