USABAI Riverside Boutique Hotel

The warm welcome is a big part of why I keep coming back. One staff member remembers my name, and Paa at the congee station is so genuinely kind and attentive that eating there feels like being with family. I’ve visited several times a month for four years, and this remains my top choice in Chanthaburi. It’s easy to walk to Central and Robinson Chanthaburi, with Centric and Jingjo Markets close by for plenty of local food. The hotel is simple but kept to a high standard: clean, spacious rooms, excellent soundproofing, and comfortable premium bedding that lets me sleep well. Great value for business or leisure stays.

We had a lovely verandah overlooking the river and mountains, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel and rooms were kept spotless. Staff were friendly and professional, and spoke English fluently. The location worked well too, about a five-minute walk from Starbucks and the shopping mall. I’d highly recommend it.

We were the only two guests, so instead of putting out a whole buffet and wasting food, they made us individual plates. That was perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive, and seemed to understand what guests needed. The rooms felt modern and were exceptionally clean, with great river views. Outside, there’s a well-kept garden and a sitting area beside the river. In the morning, the shade and breeze made it especially pleasant.

For a decent price, it’s a very nice hotel with lovely rooms. The downsides for me were no balcony and not much English spoken.
