Chiang Dao Story Camp is a peaceful place, and I really enjoyed my one-night stay. I had accidentally booked two nights for the wrong month through booking, with no refunds, but the owners kindly approved a free cancellation since they only had one night available. They also offered to take me with another guest group in their own car to a local night market, free of charge. It’s in a great location if you have your own transport.

We stayed in the new building. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, and the food they made was really good. Such a nice place!

Breakfast was included in the excellent price. The rooms are great, the location is good, and the owners are generous, kind people.

A really nice place to stay, with a great dorm and friendly, likable guys. The pickup from the bus station was perfect. The surprise came when I was leaving and the guy asked me to pay for a ride back to the station. There were five of us, and he could have offered us the return trip, especially since he hadn’t said it would cost anything. Still, it’s a nice place.

The huts were lovely, the owner was very friendly, and the gas-heated hot water gave me the best shower I’ve had so far. I had a good stay, though the surroundings didn’t create a very nice atmosphere for me, with lots of concrete, neon lights, and recent construction.
