The Wes Village

The countryside setting and pool views were fantastic, with sunny spots and nice shady places to relax beside the water. There are horses you can pet, or ride if you want. We came with my father, my son, and my cousin, and had two king rooms at the front of the main building, next to the pool. The staff don't speak much English, though the manager speaks it very well. Since you're in Thailand, I don't know why people complain about that. Dinner and breakfast were both free extras. They weren't fine dining, but we enjoyed both. Ignore the bad reviews, this place was lovely. I'd highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back.

This was a very bad experience. The staff were rude, and the owner's wife threatened us with police while we were peaceful. I read reviews saying people had ended up at the police station before, and don't recommend this place. The bathtub wasn't clean. The pool was full of bacteria and trash, or so it seemed when the disguise pump was turned off, and there was no hot water. Breakfast was very low quality: an egg, a sausage, and two pieces of watermelon. That barely counts as breakfast. We always went for the two big rooms at the front because they gave us a private area, but other customers would suddenly come into the dirty pool area by our zone. Most of the time they were rude too, like the impolite staff. People should have some respect and manners, and not threaten tourists. Not everyone is the same.

The mountain view from the rooms is beautiful, especially at breakfast in the morning. We ate al fresco as cool, thick fog slowly lifted and revealed Doi Chiang Dao in the distance. It felt idyllic and truly majestic. The room and bathroom were very spacious, and the bathroom had a bathtub. There's also a kitchen in the room with a fridge, microwave oven, sink, kettle, and tableware. The hotel grounds are beautifully kept and clean, and the staff and owner are friendly and helpful. I'd definitely return and recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was a lovely start to each day, and the whole stay felt cozy and thoughtfully cared for. Our room was spotless, tidy, and tastefully decorated, while the property had beautiful views all around. The staff made us feel so welcome.
