The front window opens onto a shared outdoor corridor, so you may want to keep that curtain mostly closed for privacy. I’m not keen on that design, though daylight comes in from the balcony door at the back. My room was huge, about 26 sqm I think, and the bed could easily sleep four. The floor is tile, thankfully no carpet. The owner is friendly, speaks very good English, and is happy to share tips about town. I also liked the quiet nights and the small back balcony, where you can do laundry and leave the door open thanks to its mosquito screen. It’s a great little budget place that delivers on what it promises, clean and efficient. There’s a big fridge, drinking water each day, dishes for street food, hangers, bedside lamp and powerplugs, a kettle, cups, and more. The hot shower works well, and the small bathroom can get fresh air through a screened window. The aircon looked very new, though I didn’t use it in December, or try the TV or wall fan. They also do laundry.
