A clean, pleasant hostel that’s well suited to travellers on a budget. Pook, the owner, is friendly and understands what guests need. She also runs Ban Chef, a restaurant two minutes away, where the food is delicious.

The location isn’t bad, but there was no service, all the bikes were broken, and there was no aircon.

The owner is really kind, and beds and mattresses are available at the listed price. There’s a fan. I went just after the place opened, before they’d installed air conditioning. Prices are 200-350 baht, and it’s close to the Chiang Khan walking street.

A comfortable night’s sleep and a convenient spot near the walking street. There’s a reading nook/lounge area too. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for budget-friendly accommodation.
