We were a little unsure about trying a container room because of the heat and limited space, but decided to give it a go. It was surprisingly comfortable, with enough room despite being a bit narrow. The Mekong views and location were excellent, and it had some fun quirky touches. Customer service was excellent too.

From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel at home. I was traveling alone, and the hospitality was so warm. Master Noi and James were sincere, friendly, and fun, and they went out of their way to help me. They picked me up several times and even drove me to the night market to eat. I love them, and they feel like new friends. I also loved Chiang Khan. The hotel is new, with a large balcony facing the Mekong. The bed was soft, the air conditioning worked, the bathwater was great, and breakfast was delicious. Staying here felt like having a home of my own. If you visit Chiang Khan in Thailand, stay at your INBOX. You won't be disappointed.

Sleeping in a box, a container, turned out to be surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was okay. The TV would have been watchable if the remote had new batteries, though I didn't miss it much since all the channels are in Thai.

The price is reasonable, and staying in a container-style hotel was a good experience. The staff are friendly. In the morning, the neighborhood chickens can wake you up.
