I ended up choosing somewhere else. Around Thailand, businesses like this often post a phone number so potential guests can call for information, yet the phone may go unanswered for minutes. When the answering machine asks you to leave a message, that usually seems pointless, in my experience. I suppose they may not be focused on bringing in new guests.

The atmosphere is wonderful, especially if you want to wake up to fog. You don’t need to travel all the way north for that, there are beautiful places in the Northeast too.
