The owner is so polite and sweet that I almost felt rude by comparison! He lives with a chubby cat in this cute wooden house, which has only one room available and fills up quickly. The entrance is risky, enough to make you worry about breaking your neck, but the house is beautiful. Upstairs, the balcony has a lovely view of the Mekong River. Downstairs there’s a coffee shop and gallery. It’s a great place whether you’re traveling as a couple or on your own. Book early because it fills fast, lol.

I stopped in for coffee, though I didn’t use the room service. The brewing was careful, and the iced Americano tasted very good. The aroma lingered on my tongue, without any bitterness. It was a bit expensive, but the taste made the price feel okay.
