The view is stunning, the room size is fine, and the hotel feels fairly new. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, and there was a big breakfast buffet. But the mattress was really uncomfortable, and some things weren't working properly. The hotel we stayed at near the center of Bangkok cost only a little more and felt more luxurious.

The balcony view of Mae Nam Khong was beautiful, and I didn't want to leave. Breakfast was very nice too. The coffee machine was old and unreliable, which was disappointing. Tee, the breakfast waiter, was exceptionally kind and helpful. He deserves a promotion.

The food at the restaurant was tasty, the room was very comfortable, and the staff were real professionals. I stayed after crossing the border from Laos and only have good things to say. When I lost an important item, the desk staff were especially helpful and sent a driver to get it at no charge.

The view was amazing, the front desk staff were very friendly, and the pool was nice, though a little small. Guests can also use the hotel's bicycles, which is really convenient. I paid 1,500 THB with breakfast included, so the beautiful room felt like great value. It was disappointing that the breakfast area wasn't very hygienic: there were flies, and the vegetables and eggs were left uncovered.

Great value, and the room was clean and spacious. I'd recommend booking a river-view room. A glance out the window gives you changing views of the Mekong in sun, rain, or at sunset. The hotel also has bicycles to use, a nice way to explore the nearby riverside and get a feel for Chiang Khong along the Mekong.
