Our family room had one room with 3 beds, and it worked for a short stay. It's probably better suited to couples or backpackers. There's a microwave but no stove, and the owner was very nice and accommodating. 7'11 is about 2 1/2- 3 short blocks up from the alley to the main street, then turn left and keep walking. When you lock up to leave, the power goes off, so you come back to a hot room, though the AC cools it down pretty quickly. The showers are hot.

Lee and Gulf are fantastic owners, helpful and usually around. Even though they offer dozens of tours, their advice about what to see and do felt unbiased. The place is really well positioned in Chiang Mai, right at the corner of old town, and everything is walkable. They also rent bikes for places farther out. 24 Guest House is incredible value, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

A good choice for a longer stay. The owners are so nice, and the rooms offer more than an average hostel or guest house, including big beds, private bathrooms, and balconies.

My friends and I thought this was the best place we'd stayed so far in Thailand. The rooms at 24 Guesthouse are clean and feel like home, and each has its own bathroom. We spent one night here before heading to Pai, then booked another three nights after we returned. The night bazaar is a bit far, but a tuk tuk back to the guesthouse cost us 80 bahts. Definitely recommend it to travelers!

When we were stranded in Thailand during the Covid-19 crisis, Golf looked after us at her welcoming guesthouse. We felt safe and cozy there, and Golf helped us when we needed it. It's clean, and the rooms are unbelievable value with everything you need and more. This isn't a five star hotel, it feels like a home with family who will take care of you completely. If you're in Chiang Mai soon after the virus fiasco or any time in the future, pay her a visit. You won't regret it!
