Aksara Heritage

We stayed five nights and got the boutique hotel experience we wanted. The pool and shared areas were immaculately kept, and the location puts you close to the old city sights and plenty of street food and bars. We never got around to the restaurant because there was so much nearby. Everyone on staff was polite and extremely helpful, and the breakfast team were attentive with a nice menu each day. Our executive room had loads of space, with a lounge area, a large bed, and a huge bathroom with a shower and double tub. Housekeeping refreshed it nicely when we asked, and the complimentary soft drinks and snacks in the minibar were a nice touch. The only downside was the different levels in the granite flooring, which are easy to trip over in the dark. Thank you to all the staff.

The rooms are spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed, shower, and bathtub. Service was really good too, with welcoming, helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast is an extensive buffet, and the restaurant also serves lunch and dinner. The pool is refreshing, and there’s a bar by it. The location makes it easy to get to temples, massage places, money exchange, and the city wall. On Sunday night, a long night market runs right outside the hotel. A great boutique hotel, well worth a visit.

The room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and so comfortable that we didn’t want to leave it. The bed was extremely comfortable, and breakfast was a real highlight, with a high-quality range of tasty choices for different tastes. The staff were kind, attentive, and happy to help with a genuine smile throughout our stay. Aksara Heritage Boutique Hotel has a lovely warm atmosphere and a stunning, carefully put-together design. It captures the elegance and charm of traditional Lanna style while still offering modern comforts. We had an unforgettable stay and will definitely return to this wonderful hotel and the beautiful city of **Chiang Mai**, with its rich tradition, culture, and charm. Highly recommended if you’re after a stylish, memorable stay in Thailand!

We spent Christmas here and loved how peaceful it was around the pool in the evenings, a lovely place to have a drink before or after dinner. The hotel is tucked into the centre of the old town, and the pool and rooms felt like a little piece of paradise. Everything we needed was in the room, which was exceptionally clean, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and nothing felt like too much trouble. There’s also a small but usable gym with air conditioning. Breakfast had a great selection, including daily specials you could order freshly made.
