Asa Hotel

Over two weeks with a group, I got to know the staff and explore the neighborhood. They stayed cheerful and helpful, even through long and overnight shifts, and the price was great for the room quality and their care. The Asa was kept scrupulously clean. Rooms were well supplied with hot water, and the pool and common area were great, with free drinks and snacks. There are good restaurants and laundry places just a short walk away. It's less than 10 minutes from the southern gates of the old city, and only a little farther to major night markets and other walkable spots.

Mimi really made our stay. She always asked how our day had gone, suggested lovely places to eat and things to do, and looked after us so well. The hotel is beautiful and within walking distance of literally everything. The rooms are clean and well kept, the pool is nice and deep, and the staff are amazing. Definitely recommend it.

Mimi and her colleague at the front desk were amazing, among the kindest and happiest reception staff I've come across. Everyone was welcoming and very friendly, and they gave us useful information about the area and available tours. Our group of three had a triple room at the Asa Hotel from 1st to 4th December. It sits on a peaceful street away from the old quarter's noise, but is still close and easy to reach. The night market was a 15-20 minute walk. Room-only guests can have complimentary tea, coffee, and juice, or pay at the hotel for breakfast. We had an amazing stay and received great hospitality.

Free drinking water, tea, and coffee all day are a small touch that adds to the welcoming feel. The place is basic, very clean, and friendly, with great staff and a good location.
