B2 Green Boutique & Budget Hotel

The room was spacious, had lots of natural light, and came with a big fridge. It was clean too, with great shower pressure and temperature, and fast wifi. I left the “do not disturb” sign on the door my whole stay, but they still left extra toiletries and water bottles hanging there daily. The beds are on the hard side, though I found them comfortable. They might not be as comfortable if you’re overweight. It’s close to anything in Nimman, while being a bit away from the city noise and not near high traffic roads. Local restaurants and businesses line the walk there, so you’re never “alone,” even though it’s on smaller side streets. I don’t think this area of Chiang Mai is ever problematic. Some staff struggled with english, but they handled simple requests, like refreshing the wifi password or answering questions about extending the booking. That’s the only reason I gave “service” 4 stars. It’s a budget hotel, and I absolutely plan to stay again when I’m in Chiang Mai.

The price is affordable, but I didn’t think it was worth it. The view was good and there’s an elevator, but the room was so dark, with no ceiling light at all, and there was no hairdryer. You need a 500thb deposit. The matter was super super hard, the pillow was awful, and I couldn’t sleep comfortably. The staff were nice but couldn’t help fix the problem. It was quiet at night except for planes, though the surrounding area felt a bit dark to walk through even though it was a busy area.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, with a big window and spacious bathroom, and the price was very reasonable. The staff were friendly and nice. Some had a little trouble with English, but it was still great value for money.

Make sure you bring cash for the 500 THB deposit at check-in. The rooms are really large, at least twice the size of a standard Ibis room. Mine was clean and the staff were friendly.
