Baan Phuen Hostel & Rooftop Bar

A friendly spot on a quiet side street, with local attractions and places to eat close by. CMU University and the Nimman area are both within walking distance. There’s a great burger place next door and a good cafe right beside it. Good value, and recommended.

Peach and the rest of the staff made this stay feel like home. Everyone was warm and ready to help, and Peach shared lots of food and transport suggestions. When my friend got sick, she brought medicine, checked on her, and was there whenever we had questions. We also liked the clean rooms and bathrooms, the pleasant neighborhood, and how close it was to the center. The rooftop bar was a lovely spot for evening chats, and breakfast and free water were included. We were very happy here and would absolutely come back. A big thank you! ❤️

We had a great time chatting over beers on the rooftop, and the whole hostel had a really good vibe. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The facilities were great, too, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend it for a stay in Chiang Mai ;)

The owner and staff were kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Baan Phuen is a handy base if you want to be outside the old town while still close to the tourist spots and Nimman area. There are plenty of street food stalls and good coffee shops nearby. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend it.
