The outside area was lovely and peaceful, and the room was clean. I stayed two nights with my partner, and it was just what we wanted. The host was polite and welcoming to us and the other guests. There was a nice breakfast included, and it was great value for money. The shower pressure was good, but the shower head wasn’t the best.
The secluded patio and the seating outside our room were lovely, and the fruit bowl breakfast was amazing. The room was spacious, the location was perfect, and the hosts were kind and helpful. We loved our time at Baba Pim and were sad to leave. Five stars all around.
The staff at Baba Pim villa were amazing and so accommodating throughout our stay. The location is great, and I have nothing but nice things to say about our time there.
A nightmare and a waste of money. This was my worst hotel experience in Thailand. The owner wasn’t friendly and had a terrible attitude. She got annoyed when we simply asked how many eggs came with breakfast. Breakfast only includes a hot drink, and a cold one costs another 20 baht, which is ridiculous. When we asked more than two questions, she complained, “Why so many questions?” That’s the kind of hospitality we got. We stayed three nights, but the owner charged us on the second day, before checkout, which felt uncomfortable and rude. They overcharged us and even threatened us with the police when the woman owner wasn’t happy. The AC wasn’t very strong and took a long time to cool the room. They were stingy with shampoo, shower gel, and toilet paper too. Each guest got just one small bottle of water rather than a regular-sized one.
The owner was nice and helped us when there was a problem with the shower. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel is in a quiet part of Chiang Mai old city. A good place to stay.
