Ban Wiang Guest House

Really nice rooms in a good location, and the hotel was great. The staff were very helpful, and cleaning was available. Everything was pleasant and the room was clean. I’d definitely recommend it.

The owner was kind and supportive, helping me plan trips and answering my questions. Her English was pretty good, so we understood each other without any trouble, which made the stay smoother. The hotel is close to the Sunday night market, other food markets, and attractions. Rooms are simple but clean and have what you need to be comfortable. I enjoyed my time there and would book again if I return to Chiang Mai.

I’ve stayed here several times and keep coming back. The owner is exceptionally kind, the service is friendly and very good, and the place is kept clean. I always feel looked after. The entrance is a little hard to spot, but it’s large and gives you both a private lobby and a welcoming feeling. The location is excellent, and customers are well cared for.

The location was nice, but the bathroom was tiny and smelled like rotten water the whole time. Things felt dirty and moldy. The bed was the worst part: so hard it was like wood, and we couldn’t sleep on it even when tired. We asked for blankets to put over the mattress, but the receptionist seemed doubtful about why two of us wanted three blankets. They gave us water and towels on arrival, but none for the following days of our three-night stay. Those were the worst beds we had in Thailand.
