Be Phrasingh Hotel Chiang Mai

We felt safe walking around at any time of day, and the location is great. There's a 7/11 nearby, plenty of restaurants within a ten-minute walk, and the night market is six minutes away on foot, with another one twenty minutes away. The hotel was clean, the Wi-Fi was excellent for work, and the rooftop was a nice place to spend time. The pool is small but welcome on hot days. Receptionist Pleng was so helpful and sweet. We arrived on our anniversary, and she had arranged roses and cookies on the bed!

The hotel was a convenient base for walking around the city, especially with the temples so close. I stayed four days, and the room was decent and well kept. It met my expectations for a budget-friendly visit to Chiang Mai. I was told the deposit could only be paid in cash, so bring some.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are modern and in a perfect, really quiet location, but the air conditioning was loud and there were a few defects and corroded spots. There's no breakfast, though Chiang Mai has plenty to offer. It felt quite expensive for what you get.

The rooms weren't huge, but they had enough space and were always very clean. I also appreciated getting a fresh bottle of water each day, especially in that heat. The hotel is somewhat central, near the Old Town but away from the noise, and not too far from the airport. At night you do have to pass through a fairly quiet, dark alley to reach it, but nothing happened to us. A good choice if you want somewhere peaceful.
