Bella Nara Hotel Chiang Mai

The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need, and I'd still recommend staying here. The hotel is well maintained, looks like the photos, and has friendly staff overall. It's about a ten-minute walk to Nimman, a trendy area with night markets, food stalls, bars, and plenty of activity. The two things that kept it from a five-star rating for me were the pool and breakfast. The pool looks lovely but feels cold and has no atmosphere, with hardly anyone using it. A way to order drinks, happy hour, or music might make it feel less clinical. Breakfast is in a space that's much too small for the number of guests. They put tables in the car park, where multiple minivans come and go each morning to take people on day trips. Drivers often leave their engines running for a long time, and the breakfast area is only a metre from the exhaust, so we were eating right beside it. The food was acceptable, but the cramped, unpleasant setup felt like a cheap Las Vegas buffet from around 1990.

The location worked well for us, close to Nimman and within an easy walk of the Old City. We came as a couple for our first city trip to Chiang Mai, encouraged by the good reviews and elegant photos, and the European-inspired design really was refined, timeless, and modern. Our two nights were relaxing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room felt like a peaceful place to return to after exploring. When we mentioned a small issue on day one, the front desk handled it professionally. John coordinated smoothly with the manager, who upgraded us to a suite. The thoughtful, attentive service felt five-star, and every staff member greeted us warmly.

The birthday cake from Bella Nara Hotel was such a lovely surprise and made my day extra special. The manager and staff came by to wish me happy birthday and check that I was comfortable, and their sincerity really stood out. The elegant hotel is peaceful and very well cared for. The team impressed me most with their kindness and professionalism, making me feel at home from the start. I'm a Scorpio man and particular about details, so when I say this place is good, it's really good. Thanks, Bella Nara Hotel, for an unforgettable stay. I'll definitely be back!

The location was perfect, just a short walk from some cool markets, artsy shops, and pubs. We booked through an event company and had a great stay. Check-in was smooth, and the welcome drinks were a nice touch. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. Breakfast wasn't huge, but it had lots of tasty choices that changed each day over our three-night stay. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm back in Chiang Mai.
