Chez Pom

The staff were amazing, always ready with sightseeing and activity ideas, calling restaurants to make dinner reservations, and even arranging a birthday surprise. After a day out, we came back to find Zen & Tar greeting my wife with a birthday song, good wishes, and a specially ordered cake. Since the two of us couldn't finish it, we ended up having an impromptu party with other guests and staff. My wife and I were bowled over by how thoughtful everyone was. Hotel Loy is a delightful boutique hotel in the Old City, with a cozy atmosphere, spacious room, and truly delicious breakfast choices. Looking forward to my next Chiang Mai trip and catching up with everyone there.

The owner has thought through every detail, and the place is exceptionally comfortable, with plenty of room, a dining area, laundry, a courtyard, dishes, and cooking equipment. He even left food and drinks for us at no charge. We walked to a Muay Thai competition at the food and bar court just down the street, and the nightlife is close by too. No car needed, though parking is available. I can't say enough about Chez Pom.

Pom made us feel at home from the start, always friendly and quick to help, whether with local suggestions or anything we needed during the stay. Chez Pom sits in a calm central spot, close enough to walk to Chiang Mai attractions, markets, and cafes, while being away from the busy noise. Inside, it was spotless and thoughtfully decorated, with a cozy feel. We had a delightful stay and would happily come back or recommend it to solo travelers, couples, or anyone after a comfortable visit.

The owner was exceptionally friendly and speaks very good English. His store is just around the corner, and being able to pay by credit card was very convenient. The place is new, with excellent air conditioning in every room and the living room. It worked really well for our family or a group of friends. We booked through Agoda and would highly recommend it.
