The facilities are only worth what you pay. The worst part for me was the female owner’s attitude. It made me feel really bad. You could stay one day for a low price and leave if the host’s hospitality doesn’t matter to you. But if you want a pleasant memory of Chiang Mai, it may be worth paying just a little more to avoid this place and the Happy house next door, which has the same owner. Maybe other guests, like the person in the latest review who said the owner was nice, will have a different experience. It seems random.

The beds are nice, and the rooms are very cheap, so you get what you pay for. It’s not a very social hostel, and sharing with 12 people can feel overwhelming, though the curtains around the beds make it more comfortable. Shared spaces aren’t for everyone, but on a budget this is an excellent choice.

The low price may attract people even after they’ve seen the bad reviews, but I wouldn’t recommend choosing this place just because it’s cheap. If you’re curious about the facilities or service, find somewhere else. Spending 20 or 30 baht more can make a difference in quality. The accommodation is dark, has very little shared space, and the host is unfriendly.

The dorm beds are super spacious, with plenty of room for bags and other stuff. It’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in: not too noisy or full of party vibes, but you still meet nice people. Had to leave them a review, why not?
