Double J Hotel

The staff were friendly, and it’s a short walk to the local area with plenty of food options. The room, bathroom, and shower were clean.

The staff are the sweetest, but the rooms are full of black mold and never get properly cleaned. The walls are dirty and stained, like someone wiped their hands on them. Even after cleaning, the bathroom is still dirty and they never clean the tiles. The cleaning lady got upset when I wanted to change rooms because of the dirt, mold, and bad bathroom smell. That wasn’t my fault.

The hotel was still unfinished when we stayed, and it’s quite far from the city center, though getting around by motorbike was totally fine. Breakfast is typical Thai food, so for Europeans it may be more like what we’d eat for lunch, but it was really tasty. The rooms were nice and had everything needed. The staff were really kind and helped with everything we asked. Based on our stay, we can definitely recommend it.

Spacious rooms, plenty of parking, and cheap prices. This is the hotel I choose whenever I go to chiang mai. Good value for money.
