The strong drain smell was the one serious problem. It was unpleasant enough that we kept the bathroom door shut, and we sometimes noticed it downstairs by reception too. That really should be improved because it affects the whole stay. Apart from the smell, everything else was fine. The place is good value, with friendly staff, and the street is quiet with no traffic noise. You can sometimes hear people in the hallway because the walls are a bit thin. A nice extra is the small shared kitchenette, where you can make tea, coffee, or cocoa, borrow dishes, and sit outside or near reception. That helps make up for not having a fridge in the room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the property was relatively clean with a pretty good overall standard. But the air conditioning was very loud, the shower drain was clogged, and the towels were terrible and didn’t absorb water at all. Even though we clearly asked that nobody enter our room while we were away, staff did maintenance work in there during our absence.

The room was pretty standard, and the bathroom had a leak, but they fixed it once we told them. We had a great experience overall, with a great location that made it easy to walk everywhere. The staff were so friendly and really helpful.

I have so much appreciation and love for this hotel, and warmly recommend it. The location is excellent, right in the center of all the places I wanted to visit, yet it’s still very quiet. The hotel is full of generosity, love, and service above all. The staff stand out for their patience and quick care. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. I have no doubt I’ll stay again.
